ABOUT THE BOOK : Theravada Buddhism explores meditation, karma, and rebirth through a number of core teachings, including: Karma, Rebirth, Meditation, Nirvana and Impermanence. The Buddha's teachings are known as the Dharma, and Buddhists believe that practicing meditation and cultivating a lifestyle prescribed by the Buddha can help free humans from suffering.  Karma and karmaphala are fundamental concepts in Buddhism. The concepts of karma and karmaphala explain how intentional actions keep one tied to rebirth in samsara, whereas the Buddhist path, as exemplified in the Noble Eightfold Path, shows us the way out of samsara.
